# Geocoding and Place search

Due to popular demand, we have added 3 new platforms for geocoding and address search. This is because of report of high charges from google map services.

The newly added platforms:

1. Opencage : <https://opencagedata.com/api>&#x20;
2. Radar : <https://radar.com/>
3. Locationiq : [https://locationiq.com/ ](https://locationiq.com/)

## How to change the platform

* You can change the geocoding and search platform from the Map settings in the backend, as shown below:

* Then you have to set the **API Key** or **API token** by what ever platform you select.

## Api Key Restriction

You can now enable api key restriction with any of the geocoding platform including google maps
